Spinach artichoke is a great appetizer for a holiday get-together or party. 

Often this dip is served warm in a sourdough bread bowl. This means that the inside of a loaf is carved out to look like a bowl.  The mixture is poured inside and then the bread that is cut out is cut into squares and served as a dipping vessel for the dip. Others may serve it warm with colored tortilla chips. 

I took a healthier route and decided to serve it warm with sliced cucumber chips. This dip isn’t generally served warm, so I wasn’t sure how it would turn out, but it was delicious! Very creamy and rich and had a nice artichokey/spinachy taste.  

The cool thing about this dip is that it is made from almonds. It is vegan and made with Water, Organic Almonds, Organic Sunflower Oil, Organic Lemon Juice, Organic Spinach, Organic Nutritional Yeast, Organic Coconut Aminos, Artichoke Hearts, Organic Garlic, Organic Jalapeno, Sea Salt.

Nutritionally, it is rich in healthy fats. It is also low in salt and contains a tiny bit of fiber and protein in it. 

My only suggestion if you choose to serve this as a holiday dip is to add additional frozen spinach and chopped artichoke hearts to it before heating to give it the traditional chunky dip taste and flavor. Or maybe add some diced red peppers to give it the holiday feel! 

I give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars!!
