VEGAN PRODUCT REVIEW ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

PLANT-BASED ME’EAT

I tried the ground taco version of Plant-Based Me’Eat. It’s scary similar to regular taco meat in taste and in texture. 

Even though it’s a package dehydrated product, it’s made with clean simple ingredients including pea protein, pinto bean flakes, onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, apple and carrot juice (for color) and jalapeno. 

It was SUPER simple to cook. You just add water and that’s it. 

It’s very low in calories (60 calories per serving – enough for 1 taco), extremely low in fat (almost none), a good source of protein (8 grams per serving) and no added sugars. It’s also a great source of iron and surprisingly not too much added salt. 

My only thought is I wish I would have looked at the spice level on the back before purchasing as it’s a mild spiced food and I love spice!  Next time I would probably go for their spicy chorizo that is medium-hot. 

I would recommend this for plant-based newbies that want the same texture and taste as meat but in a non-meat form. 

I give it a 4 out of 5 stars!!
