We used Colorado cherries to make our star spangled banner sparkle!

Makes: 4 banana splits

Ingredients:

1 banana sliced in half or quarters

For Red:

1 banana sliced

1 ½ cups Colorado Cherries – deseeded and sliced in half

¼ cup canned coconut cream

Add all ingredients to a gallon bag and place in the freezer

For White:

1 banana sliced

¼ cup canned coconut cream

A drizzle of vanilla extract

Add all ingredients to a gallon bag and place in the freezer

For Blue:

1 banana sliced

1 pint fresh blueberries – washed and dried

Add all ingredients to a gallon bag and place in the freezer

Other ingredients:

Fresh Colorado cherries and Blueberries for toppings

Gluten-free cinnamon granola – low sugar

Whipped coconut cream with honey

Instructions:

1. Slice up a banana and line the edges of 4 banana split boats

2. Start with the red nice cream. Pour the entire red ingredient bag into a food processor. Process until smooth but not custardy. Remove one scoop and place in the banana boat. Rinse food processor.

3. Next do the vanilla nice cream. Pour the entire white ingredient bag into a food processor. Process until smooth but not custardy. Remove one scoop and place in the middle of the banana boat.

4. Last do the blueberry nice cream. Pour the entire blue ingredient bag into a food processor. Process until smooth but not custardy. Remove one scoop and place on the other end of the banana boat.

5. Sprinkle with the toppings above or add your own. Place a dollop of whipped cream in the center and top with a cherry.

Adjust ingredients to your taste. Not a big fan of coconut cream, eliminate it from the recipe.
